Melissa's Memories

Arliene Guenther made this wonderful T-shirt memory quilt for Melissa Guenther. Arliene mailed the quilt from Nevada to Seattle, Washington using the US Postal Service. On January 2, 2002 the postal carrier left the package on the doorstep of an apartment and it was stolen. A police report was filed on January 6.

This quilt is about 70" by 70" and has red plaid sashing. It was machine pieced and machine quilted in 2001. The label says, "Melissa's Memories...always remember your roots." The label, which has an embroidered outline of the state of Nevada, was hand appliqued to the back of the quilt.

If you've seen this quilt, please contact Arliene at [email protected].
