Log Cabin Pine Trees

In 2000 Julie Gilchrist made a Log Cabin Pine Trees quilt using 18 different green prints and a blue-gray mottled background. In 2001 a thief stole the quilt out of her car along with her stereo/CD player. She believes they used the quilt to cover up the stereo when they stole it. The car was parked in Sacramento, California when the theft occurred. The quilt is 48" by 60". The binding had been sewn on but was not completely hand-stitched yet. The trees are set on point. The backing is a navy and green plaid while the binding is green with a gold plaid printed on it.

Please contact Julie at [email protected] if you find this quilt.
