Let's Do Lunch

Grace Anderson had an original quilt on display at the Three Rivers Community Hospital in Grants Pass, Oregon. It was one of six art quilts on display. The display was hung in May 2001. In September 2002 Grace noticed her quilt was missing. At that time, the other five quilts were removed and placed in a secure location.

The quilt is 32" by 44". It has a hand-dyed, blue, green and pink background and border. The fish are from commercial prints and hand dyed cottons and depicted in true-to-life colors. Grace did an extensive amount of machine applique. The machine quilting is done in swirly floral and wave-like designs. The quilt is signed on the back of the quilt along the lower edge with a Pigma pen. It probably says something like, "© 2001 Gia Originals."

If you have any information about this quilt, please contact Grace at [email protected].
