Kiss a Frog

Patricia L. Styring needs help recovery her quilt which was lost by DHL. The quilt was last seen on February 7, 2006 in St. Augustine, Florida. DHL scanned the package onto its truck and no other scans have appeared since then.

Patricia's quilt is 86" by 85". It is an original design. It is pieced, appliqued, and has extremely dense quilting in color. The main colors are red-orange, purple and yellow-green. The center section is made of four compass blocks surrounded by a large circle of applique vines with running frogs. The main fabric in the borders is a red with sitting frogs in pointed hats. The back of the quilt is composed of more larger frogs running and pots of pieced compass flowers. There is a label on the back which has Patricia's name, the quilt's name, and a printed frog with a crown on a white background.

This quilt won the Larged Pieced division at QuiltFest 2005 in Jacksonville, Florida. If you find this quilt, please contact Debby through the Lost Quilt Come Home Page.
