Katrina's Storm at Sea
Betty Young needs help recovering a quilt that was shipped to her daughter in Oklahoma City via UPS. The package was shipped on September 28, 2009. When the package reached Oklahoma City, a clerk at UPS decided the mailing address was not valid, so the package was not put on the delivery truck. No attempt was made to contact Betty or her husband, even though three phone numbers were included in the paperwork. The address was, indeed, valid and a complaint has been filed. Once the complaint was filed, the package was mysteriously sent to Random House Publishing in Crawfordsville, Indiana. Now the package can not be located.
This quilt is a Storm at Sea pattern which took Betty ten years to complete. The focus fabric is a turquoise background with geckos in shades of greens, blues, purples, and lavenders. Also in the package was approximately six yards of Minkee in white, pink, and lavender.
Please contact Betty at [email protected] if you can help with the recovery of this quilt.
