Personalized Quilt Possibly Sent to Thrift Store

Julie Kay is searching for a un-quilted topper that was made for her by her mother. It is a twin to full size quilt made of squares of old clothes. The squares were about 6" by 6". Many colors and textures were used, but Julie specifically remembers the reds and bold colors. Her mother also embroidered her name, "Julie Kay," on a pink square. It was made around 1975.

Julie last saw the quilt around 1980 in Schenectady, New York. She had taken it with her when she went to spend some time with her dad, but he never sent her things back when she returned home. She believes he may have sent it to a Goodwill store in Schenectady or Scotia, New York.

Please help Julie find her quilt. You can contact her at [email protected].
