Jay Walk

On February 20, 2007, Kathy York mailed her quilt to Houston using the US Postal Service. USPS misdelivered it to a wrong address along with hundreds of other packages. The company that received it claims they do not have it, but they signed for it.

This original quilt is 34" by 60". It has seven blue jays walking across the top of five huge pink sunflowers. The main colors are aqua, pink, yellow, and blue. The sunflowers are screenprinted. The blue jays have beaded legs. The quilt is labeled, "Jay Walk, 2006, Kathy York" and her address and phone number. The label is hand appliqued to the bottom left corner.

You can read more about this quilt on Kathy's blog, www.aquamoonartquilts.blogspot.com, September 29, 2006 entry. Please contact Kathy at [email protected] if you have any information about this missing quilt.
