Improved Nine Patch
Amy Francy needs help locating a quilt that was made by her great-great grandmother. It was one of the last quilts made by her great-great grandmother before she died. Amy's grandmother cherished it since she received it when she was nine years old.
This is a full-sized, blue and white, Improved Nine Patch that was made in the 1930's. It is hand pieced and hand quilted. The quilt was last seen on May 12, 2006 in West Point, Iowa when it was stolen off the wall of her house on the same weekend that there was a large quilt show in Iowa City, Iowa.
If you have seen a quilt that fits this description, please contact Amy through the Lost Quilt Come Home Page.
