Illusions

Margaret Burke is searching for an original quilt called Illusions. The 18" by 24" quilt was last seen at the March 2002 Richmond Quilter's Guild Annual Meeting. The main color of this quilt is black with colors ranging from bold pinks to reds and aquas to blues. The fabrics are hand-dyed solids. It was machine pieced and machine quilted in 2001. The label, which was hand appliqued to the lower corner of the backing, says,
Margaret Burke - Caryl Bryer Fallert Class
    Illusions - Richmond, VA 2001

It is possible that since this is a small piece, it may have gotten wrapped up in someone else's larger quilt and forgotten about. Other participants in the show have been questioned, but the quilt has not been found yet.

If you can help in the recovery of this quilt, please contact Margaret at [email protected].
