Honeycomb Quilt Stolen From Car

Allred Cooder Buctawfree is searching for a Honeycomb quilt made by her Dollie Allred Moore. The quilt was last seen in Fall of 1998. It was in the back of a car that was parked in Highlands, North Carolina when the car was vandalized.

This is a double size quilt and the dominant color is red. The main backing fabric has tiny black leaves. It is hand pieced and hand quilted and was made around 1925. The quilt has a honeycomb uneven edge.

Please contact Karen Marie Jackson with any information, [email protected].
