Handmade Hooked Rug

Heather Frye is desperately hoping to recover her great-grandmother's handmade hooked rug. It was being sent via UPS, but was never delivered. There is a tracer on it, but the investigation is closing soon.

The rug is about 4 feet by 5 feet. It is rose pink with a variety of flowers in an oval pattern with more flowers in the center. The pile is looped, not cut. It is made of hand-dyed, wool fabric strips. It is an award-winning, original design which includes lilies, roses, and even apple flowers. Her name, Nora McArdle, is hooked into the rug with green yarn.

If you can help Heather in any way, please contact her through the Lost Quilt Come Home Page.
