Grandmother's Flower Garden

For three years Linda Christie hand pieced a Grandmother's FlowerGarden quilt, using a commercial pattern. The quilt was last seen in Mexia, Texas. A friend who hand quilted it for her packed it in a box at the US Post Office in Mexia. She was mailing it back to Linda. Apparently, Linda writes, "Someone; must have seen her pack it and then promptly took it once she relinquished it at the USPO." Linda spent many hours talking to the lost and found in Atlanta, Georgia but nothing ever came from the investigation.

This quilt is about a double size. It uses all different blue prints for the circular flowers. The borders are solid peach and solid sage green surrounds the blue circular prints that make up the flower design. Her name is machine monogrammed with a script font (about 1-1/2'' high) on the lower side of the quilt in beige/peach. It is hand quilted.

If you've seen a quilt that fits this description, please contact Linda through the Lost Quilt Come Home Page.
