Golden Rectangle
February 13, 2005 was the last day Kimberly Schroeder saw the Golden Rectangle quilt she was working on. It was last seen in a ziploc bag in Westport, Washington. It fell out of the back of a Missoula Children's Theatre Ford Ranger truck. Police in the area were contacted to see if a black shoulder bag had been turned it. The bag also contained a wedding planner, passport, journal, and sewing notions. The quilt was twice the size as shown in the picture when it was lost.
This hand pieced quilt is only partially made. The quilt was made using a pattern from Jinny Beyer's "Quiltmaking By Hand." Kimberly used mostly batik fabrics in shades of pink and purple.
If you have found this quilt, please contact Kimberly through the Lost Quilt Come Home Page.
