Foundation Pieced Tulips

June L. Knight wanted to creat a very special quilt for her mother mainly using foundation pieced tulip patterns. The last time she saw it was during Spring 2000. It was at Kloth Knight Fabrics, a retail fabric store in Yuma, Arizona. June believes her ex-husband stole it and sold it to a customer.

This wall hanging is 24" square. It has not been quilted yet. The center is larger than the four outer corner tulips. The main colors are navy, rose, sage green and grey. She used the Jinny Beyer palette fabrics for navy and grey. The rose and sage are touched with gold and are probably Concord or Hoffman fabrics.

If you know anything about this quilt top, please contact June through the Lost Quilt Come Home Page.
