Recovered!
Floral Windows

Dianne Johnston is a quilt designer, pattern publisher, author and has a hand-dyed fabric business in Queensland, Australia. On April 29, 2006, one of her award winning, hand-appliqued quilts disappeared while loading the car after a class in Brisbane.

Mysteriously, ten weeks later, her quilt was returned to her by mail. There was no name or any indication of where it had been, but it was in very good condition. Dianne says, "I feel sure that all the publicity probably made the quilt too hot to handle." What a wonderful end of this story!

The quilt is a double bed quilt named "Floral Windows." It has been featured in the Australian Patchwork and Quilting magazine, and is well-known in Australia, the US, and Canada.
