Feed Sack Double Wedding Ring Quilt

In 1936 Fannie Mae Fuller made a Double Wedding Ring quilt for her daughter, Gladys Lowry. Now Fannie's granddaughter, Barbara Rebold, and her sister are trying to locate this quilt.

This quilt was made with white muslin and prints from 1930's feed sacks. The quilt fits a full size bed with about 10" overhang on each side. It was last seen in 1984 in a cedar chest (along with many other quilts) in Kansas. It was stolen from her mother's home after her death.

Another quilt that was stolen was Barbara's kindergarten quilt, made by her mother. It has white blocks with the name of a classmate. It was embroidered with many colors, hand pieced and hand quilted in 1945. There are two or three "Barbara's" on it. The school was Oxford Grade School, Oxford, Kansas.

If you have seen a quilt that matches these descriptions, please contact Barbara through the Lost Quilt Come Home Page.
