Faces in Wood

Linda Collobert is missing a quilt called "Faces in Wood." It was in a cedar chest that was stored a rented storage locker in Claycomo, Missouri. The cedar chest and the quilt were stolen during Fall 1994.

This quilt is an original design. It has embroidered faces inspired by folk art wood carvings. The embroidered squares are on natural muslin. The embroidery is done in varying shades from ecru to dark brown. The setting blocks are greens and browns, and the squares are set with woody fabric. The quilt is twin size, approximately 66" by 84". It is machine pieced and machine quilted. The quilt is signed directly on the back with the initials LC and the date made.

Please contact Linda through the Lost Quilt Come Home Page if you have found a quilt that fits this description.
