Dutch Girl Quilt
Angelina S. Carter's Dutch Girl quilt was last seen at Wurtsmith Air Force Base during January 1991 when it was being packed into a moving box. Her mother made this full-size quilt for her in 1974 when she was seven years old.
Each block has a white background . Angelina's missing quilt looks very much this Sunbonnet Sue quilt but with black borders. Each dutch girl is made of different fabrics. It is hand pieced, hand appliqued and hand quilted. If it has a label, it may have the name of her mother, Carole DiSanto.
If you've seen a quilt that fits this description, please contact Angelina at [email protected].
