Dutch Doll Quilt

Sallie Thalhimer last saw her quilt in 1986. She gave it to someone in Richmond, Virginia to have it repaired, but she has lost contact with that person and no longer has their name. She thinks it was a young man who was possibly a student in VCU (Virginia Commonwealth University). The quilt had been made by her great-grandmother. It is a double-size Dutch Doll quilt. It was made from remnants from children's dresses which her grandmother had made for her mother as a little girl. The main colors were primary blues, reds, and yellows. It was made in 1936.

Please contact Sallie through the Lost Quilt Come Home Page if you have information about this quilt.
