Dresden Plate with Ice Cream Cone Border

During December 2002 a Dresden Plate quilt disappeared from Cassandra Sloop's mother's home in Tennessee. The quilt has an ice cream cone border with blue fabric that matches the center circle. It is double/queen size and is hand pieced, hand appliqued, and hand quilted. The blocks were made in the 1940's from pastel fabrics with prints from children's clothing, including prints with children's toys and small animals. The quilt was finished in the early 1990's with the blue centers and machine-stitched border.

If you have seen a quilt that fits this description, please contact Cassandra through the Lost Quilt Come Home Page.
