Dresden Plate Quilt
Patricia Mertens is hoping to find a Dresden Plate quilt that was made by her mother and her grandmother. It is a queen-size quilt with a magenta background. The hand-pieced Dresden plate blocks were made with 1930's fabrics. The quilting is unfinished. It was hand sewn in a fan design. The quilt was last seen in Rochester, Michigan in 1988. It was stolen from a laundry basket in the laundry room of an apartment complex located on Rochester Road.
If you've seen a quilt that matches this description, please contact Patricia through the Lost Quilt Come Home Page.
