Dad's Garden Quilt

Dian Moore is searching for the garden quilt she had made for her dad, Ray Armstrong. He slept under this quilt for four years while he was in the P.A. Peterson Nursing Home in Rockford, Illinois.

On February 15, 1999, the day her father died, the quilt disappeared off his bed. It is possible the quilt was sent to a laundry service in the Madison, Wisconsin area, but if it was, the quilt never returned. So the quilt was either stolen at the nursing home or at the laundry.

The front of the twin-size quilt is made up of fifteen different blocks made of a variety of floral red and green fabrics. Dark green sashing separates the blocks across the quilt. The quilt was labeled on the back with her name, city and other information.

If you can help Dian, please e-mail her at [email protected]. You can also view this stolen quilt on Dian's website, http://home.netcom.com/~Eeless1/page3.html.
