Country Cottage

In 2001 Marian Watkins made a double bed size quilt top with eighteen blocks. Each block has a cream colored background with a cottage. Each cottage is done with different colors. She used a commercial pattern from the Australian Patchwork & Quilting Magazine, Volume 1, Number 3, page 89. The quilt top is hand pieced and hand appliqued and it is embellished with hand embroidery.

Marian last saw her quilt top in September 2001 in Spotlight Store, Brisbane, Australia. She believes she accidentally left it at the store when she was shopping for more fabric. If you have seen this quilt top, please contact Marian at [email protected].
