Christmas Angel

In 1986 Cathy Sisk McCoy made the Christmas Angel pattern found in Better Homes & Gardens Christmas Traditions. It is a quilt made entirely of 2-inch squares and has a red eyelet border. The finished height is about 10-12 feet. It is machine pieced and machine quilted.

This quilt was last seen in 1989 or 1990 at St. Rita Catholic Church, Fort Worth, Texas. It was removed from the storage closet. The quilt was displayed in the church for Guardian Angel Day for the school children. The director hung it in the bell tower closet for Cathy to pick up later, but when she came to get it, it was gone. It is not known if it was stolen or mistakenly given away. The quilt was very special to Cathy's family and it was made to hang in their living room.

If you've seen this quilt, please contact Cathy through the Lost Quilt Come Home Page.
