Christ, The Good Shepherd

In 1994 the ladies of the Foster Memorial Seventh-Day Adventist Church created this quilt of Christ, The Good Shepherd for their church in Asheville, North Carolina. It was on display in the lower foyer of the church until mid-summer 2002 when it was discovered missing. A police report has been filed.

The quilt is about 54" by 90". It was machine pieced, hand appliqued and hand quilted. The face of Christ was hand painted and his hair was embroidered. The main colors are green and blue. The quilt has a label and sewn onto the lower back corner. The label may include the maker's names including Kaye Edmonds, Linda Cantrell, Lori Voth, Mary Powell, Judy Elliston, Penny Wortman, and Diane Kroll.

If you've seen this quilt, please contact Judy at [email protected].
