Charm Quilt

Jan Rhees is looking for a charm quilt which has been missing since 1976. It was last seen in Nashville, Tennessee. This queen or full size quilt, which was made in the 1960s, was hand pieced, hand appliqued and hand quilted. It is mainly yellows, greens and reds on white or pastel cottons. It has a distinctive ivy fabric and the other fabrics are all different and one of a kind. The batting was thin. The label was hand-sewn on and may be signed either Elizabeth Hughes, Harriett Taff or Jan T. Rhees. When the quilt was lost it was in mint condition.

Please contact Jan Rhees at [email protected].
