Memory Quilt

Donna Trefethen is hoping to recover a memory quilt made for her mother-in-law and father-in-law's (Madlyn and Albert Trefethen) 50th anniversary in 1973. This double bed size quilt has a brown sheet background. The hand appliqued quilt features hand drawn pictures. One of the pictures is a railroad engine. The quilt is like a wheel. Every other pie-shaped piece is calico and the alternate ones are muslin with autographs and pictures on them. The figures were traced over with liquid embroidery.

Donna's daughter, Joy Chandler, had the quilt when her ex-husband took it. It was last seen four or five years ago in Texas.

If you find a quilt that matches this description, please contact Donna at [email protected].
