Block of the Month Sample

A quilt top sample of the Garden Club Block of the Month has been stolen from the Little Quilts Quilt Shop in Marietta, Georgia. It was on display to promote the Block of the Month pattern series by Country Threads when it was stolen in January 2001. The photo to the left is NOT the actual quilt top that was stolen; it is from the pattern put out by Country Threads.

The 84" by 64" quilt top, made by Kathy Niemann, has beige backgrounds with country colors like red, rust, gold, navy, colonial blue, and hunter green. All of the fabrics are from 1999 and 2000 fabric lines. The quilt top is machine pieced and hand appliqued.
