Barrier Reef

Around September 10, 2003 this quilt sample, Barrier Reef, was stolen from the Piecemakers' Country Store in Costa Mesa, California. It was a in the quilt sample room for a class that Anne Copeland was going to teach. There were two other class samples as well, but only this one was taken off the wall and stolen.

This textured and collaged quilt is only 8-1/2" by 11" but it is richly embellished with machine quilting, embroidery and beading. It is an original design and it has some silks and non-cotton fancy fabrics. It is machine appliqued and machine quilted. It does have a label hand stitched to the lower left corner that includes Anne's name, address, phone number and email.

If you have any information about this theft, please contactAnne at [email protected].
