Autumn's Glory

Nancy Prince needs our help recovering her quilt, Autumn's Glory. She had it in her classroom when she was teaching at the 2005 AQS show in Paducah, Kentucky. It was on the table with the other quilts made for her book. At the end of the workshop she realized it was missing.

This original quilt is 17" by 15". It depicts a rural farm scene with a fall tree on the left, a barn in the distance, and a wooden fence and boulders in the foreground. It has hand-painted fabric. Nancy used thread painting to create the trees, pumpkin, fence posts, and distant shrubs. It is hand appliqued and machine quilted. This quilt was made as one of the projects in Nancy's first book, "Easy Thread Painting." There is a label in the botom left corner.

Please contact Nancy at [email protected].
