Medallion and Star Quilt Tops

Janey Allen of Queensland, Australia is looking for two quilt tops that she mailed to a commercial quilter using the Australian Postal Service. She mailed them in October 2000 but they were never received. The local post offices and the central Lost Mail centre were contacted but the quilt tops still have not been recovered.

The 1988 Block of the Month Medallion Quilt top (shown above) was published by Barossa Quilt and Craft Cottage. It is 55" by 65" and is mostly dark blues and burgundies. This quilt top was machine pieced in 2000.

The stars quilt top was made from a pattern in "Naive and Country Quilts" published by Craftworld Books. It is made of a wide variety of country burgundy, blues and mustard fabrics. Janey machine pieced this 64" by 80" in 2000.
