Attic Windows Quilt

Sue DeSalvatore had about twenty quilts on display at the Siskiyou County Behavioral Health Services in Yreka, California. Yreka is located on the Northern California / Oregon border on Interstate 5. During October 2001, one of Sue's quilts was stolen. The quilt disappeared during the evening hours when AA / NA / AI-Anon meetings are held. The staff was not in the building at the time and it was the janitor who reported it to the police.

The missing quilt is a beautiful, simple and classic Attic Windows quilt. It is about 48" by 60" and features rich pastel pinks, blues and possibly lavender. The blocks are made with solids colors and the borders use speckled fabric. The quilt was machine pieced and free-hand machine quilted in 1998.

If you have any information regarding this quilt, please contact Sue through the Lost Quilt Come Home Page.
