Recovered!
Anna Hergert Quilts
On September 21, 2009, Anna Hergert shipped a package containing four quilts. She shipped them from Oak Harbor, Washington to Teri in Richland, Michigan. According to the UPS records and the tracking information, the package was delivered and left on the front porch on September 24, 2009. Teri told Anna that she has given UPS strict instructions NOT to leave anything on her front porch. UPS says they are not responsible for the loss, and therefore the insurance on the package is null and void.
Two months later, Anna was happy to report that the wall hangings had been recovered when Teri found the quilts among other shipments in her house.
Anna writes, "I just received payment and am elated to share this positive outcome with you and your audience! Publishing the quilts as lost/stolen certainly helped resolve the matter!"
