Amish Star

This Amish Star quilt was made by Cheri Wimberly for her son, Stephen. Cheri's ex-husband threw it away in a dumpster behind the Century 21 office where he worked in Cambria, California. The quilt was last seen on August 28, 1999.

The quilt is 88" by 88". It has a black background with bright blue, orange, pink, green, turquoise and purple six-pointed stars. It has a border of diamonds followed by a border of pinwheels. Cheri machine pieced and machine quilted it. There is a label on the lower right corner of the back of the quilt which was made with an extra quilt block.

If you have found this quilt, please contact Cheri at [email protected].
