ABC Quilt

Hope Martin is looking for an ABC quilt that she made for her granddaughter, Julia. The quilt was last seen on February 3, 2003 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.

This quilt is an original design with novelty borders. Some of the blocks use commercially embroidered designs such as an apple for the letter A and a butterfly for the letter B. The backing of the quilt is a map of the United States. It is about 40" by 45". It is machine pieced and machine quilted. Hope also embellished the quilt with buttons and there are hand written notes on the letters X and V. On the X block, Hope used a permanent pen to write, "eXtra hugs and kisses for Julia from Grammy."

If you find this quilt, please contact Hope at [email protected].
