Sabie’s quilt

Debbie Witt hopes to recover a quilt she made for her granddaughter, Sabie. The quilt was last seen on December 18, 2017 in Fredericksburg, Virginia. It was wrapped, packaged, and shipped to her granddaughter in Wildwood, Missouri. Debbie just found out the quilt never arrived. At the time, there was a rash of packages stolen from porches in their neighborhood, so they do not know if it was delivered to the wrong person or stolen. The shipper confirmed delivery on December 21.

This quilt is 65″ by 84″ and it features various African animals. The main colors are browns, blacks, grey, and earth colors. It has zebra stripe fabrics along with other animal print fabrics and fabrics with brown geometric patterns. It is machine pieced, machine appliquéd, and machine quilted. About twenty of the blocks are machine embroidered. It has a label that says something like, “This quilt was made by Debbie Witt for Sabie Witt, December 25, 2017.” The label is on the bottom right side of the back.
