Carolina was hoping to recover a Dresden Plate quilt made by her great-grandmother using her dresses. Her uncle took the quilt top, had it cleaned, and had it remade with new backing and batting, and then he gave it to Carolina on her birthday in 2013 as a family heirloom. On March 30, 2017 a moving company came to her home in Wenatchee, Washington and moved the wooden chest that had the quilt. It was delivered to Brownsville, Texas on April 10, but the quilt was no longer in the chest. Carolina believes the quilt may be in Washington, Texas, or California.
Fortunately, during August 2017, the quilt was found in a mis-labeled box, so we have another happy ending!
