Hester Mastro reports the loss of a Grandmother’s Flower Garden quilt which was made for Coleen Bonds by her great-grandmother. The quilt was last seen on July 15, 2016 in Woodland Hills, California. It was stolen off the front porch of the owner’s home after being delivered by a shipping company.
This quilt is 88″ by 104″. The “path” around the flowers is green. The flowers all have yellow centers. The quilt was all hand pieced but machine quilted with the continuous curve and flower motif scattered through out the garden path. The backing is a green 30’s reproduction fabric, and the quilt was not yet bound.
