Thom’s Wedding Quilt

AlbeeJane-ThomsWeddingQuiltJane Albee is searching for her missing quilt. It was put on top of a car while unloading something else from the back seat. Apparently, she forgot to put it back in the car. She contacted her local radio station, put a classified ad in the newspapers, posted flyers at the local businesses, and even called the garbage company. This quilt was last seen on August 12, 2013 in the QFC parking lot in Port Townsend, Washington.

This king size quilt is made with fall colors like greens, browns, cream, and purple. It is machine pieced and machine quilted. It does not have a label.

This quilt was made by the groom’s mother and Jane (the groom’s step-mother) for his wedding. She picked it up the week before so she could give it to the couple for their wedding pressent. Jane writes, “We are devastated! It didn’t dissolve, so I know it’s somewhere out there.”

If you find this quilt, please contact Jane at comether@comcast.net.
