Crimson & Evergreen

BerberichSuzie-Crimson&EvergreenSuzie Berberich is searching for her original quilt, “Crimson & Evergreen.” The quilt was last seen in 2010 in San Ramon, California. The family believes it was either stolen from an estate sale that was held when their parents were put into a home or during the real estate showing of their house. A company was handling the estate sale for the family. This quilt was not supposed to be sold, but it disappeared and no one knows where it went. However, it is possible that the quilt may be in Michigan, north of Grand Rapids.

This red and green quilt is 90″ by 90″. The quilt uses over forty different red fabrics. Each block has a cardinal in the center. This quilt was machine pieced and machine quilted in 2003. The label says, “Made for Marjorie Berberich by Suzie Berberich of Dryden Mich.”
