Ellen Hernandez was hoping someone could help her recover her missing quilt. “Ease on Down the Road” was mailed from San Antonio, Texas to Quilt Alliance in North Carolina on June 1, 2013. It never arrived. It was shipped in a 24″ mailing tube. Ellen had also placed her name and address inside the tube in a manila envelope. The quilt is to be entered into the Alliance contest, and any future sale was to be donated to the Alliance.
On June 18, 2013, Ellen’s quilt finally finished its trip. Ellen reported, “My quilt was found! It finally arrived at its destination in NC. Maybe I ‘jumped the gun’ in reporting it, but 3 weeks to be delivered was a miserable wait. Thank you so much for your efforts to help.”
