Love, Lorrain
Kiki Zusan is searching for a quilt that she made for Lorraine Zusan. The quilt was last seen in March 2009 at Cerenity Care Center - Marian Care Center in Saint Paul, Minnesota. They assume it was lost, possibly in the laundry.
This is a lap-size quilt. Kiki used a commercial pattern which is a modification of "Sailing Flags" which is a modified "Lazy Log Cabin" design. The quilt is hand pieced and machine quilted with a star pattern. It was made in 2001 from her mother’s leftover scrapps. Some fabric is a herringbone-type design using white, yellows, and golds. Another is an aqua-colored background with mice. One is a red calico with small flowers. The five top fabrics in the picture to the left were used on the front of the quilt. The back is white with small geometric designs as seen in the bottom of the picture to the left. There is a label on the back that says, "Love, Lorraine" and "Hand pieced by Kiki Zusan Christmas 2001."
