Heart Quilt

Gloria Leasher is asking for help locating her “Heart Quilt” which was made for Dr. Kehoe. It was last seen in September 2008 at Central Michigan Hospital in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan. It was taken from Gloria’s brother’s room after he passed away. Gloria had made it for her brother to give to his cardiologist. Gloria gave it to her brother on September 9th, and he passed away on September 12th before he gave it to his doctor. When his wife collected his belongings, the quilt was missing, even after an extensive search.

This is a slanted log cabin quilt, which has fat logs on one side of the block and thin logs on the other. It is approximately 45″ by 60″. It is a white quilt with with a red heart in the center. This quilt is machine pieced and machine quilted.
