Recovered! Grandmother’s Crazy Quilt

After nearly twenty years, this quilt has finally been located and returned. It had been inadvertently given to the wrong person.

The last time Karen Crist had seen her Grandmother’s Crazy Quilt was in 1984 in Kent, Ohio. She had no idea what became of it or how it became missing. It was made between 1930-1940. She remembers that the backing of the quilt was made out of old burlap bags. It is hand pieced and hand quilted.
