In 2004 Sandie Cooper made this quilt for her granddaughter, Andrea Gordon-Cooper, who lived with her mother in Senatobia, Mississippi. Sandie mailed it to Andrea’s mother, Terrie Gordon, in time for Christmas 2004. Terrie mentioned receiving the quilt along with some toys. At the time Terrie was living with a boyfriend and, when she moved out, she did not take the quilt with her.
This quilt is lap size to crib size, made from a commercial pattern called Yellowbrick Road. It is machine pieced and machine quilted by Anna Cheever of Wichita, Kansas. Andrea’s father, Ryan, helped pick out the colors and the placement of the blocks. He added the red felt hearts on the front of the quilt.
Andrea now lives with Sandie, and they would love to locate the quilt for sentimental reasons. If you can help, please contact Sandie through the Lost Quilt Come Home Page.
